Neem Leaves For Skin Lightening

In most of the Indian households Neem is used in many ways like Neem water, Neem and honey, Neem soap, Neem shampoo and Neem oil, but the easiest and common way the Neem is used is a paste out of leaves.

Preparation of the Neem paste

It is quite simple, all you need is to just grind some fresh Neem leaves with a little water and the paste is ready to use. If you can’t find fresh leaves, buy organic dried Neem powder from the market or a pharmacy and make a paste by adding some water to it.

The regular use of Neem paste has many skin benefits. Neem is the best antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-fungal and much more. Will all these amazing properties it helps in healing various skin issues, diseases, and disorders.

Reduces Skin Blemishes

Remedy 1

  • Make a paste using rose water with Neem leaves/powder, Tulsi leaves or powder, and sandalwood powder.
  • Now apply this on your face.
  • Allow it dry and wash it off with cold water.

Remedy 2

  • Neem leaves / powder/ oil
  • Turmeric powder
  • 5 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice

Mix all ingredients and apply it on your face, wait for it to dry and then wash it off. You can also apply this paste all over your body before bath.

Moisture Your Dry Skin With Neem Leaves

Mix Neem powder with warm water and add a few drops of Grapeseed oil, now apply it to your face as a moisturizer.

Neem has regenerative properties that help in slowing down the ageing process of your skin by applying Neem oil on your face or adding Neem powder to your face-pack.

Mix 1tablespoon of sandalwood powder with 2 tablespoons of Neem paste and apply it on your skin. Patients are encouraged to take a bath with Neem water since it soothes the skin and it also prevents additional spreading of the infection.

Skin Toning

Neem water can be used as a toner. Take a cotton ball and just dip it into the boiled Neem water and wipe it all over the skin and allow it to stay overnight. This procedure will clear the pigmentation, acne, scars, and blackheads.

Prepare A Face Pack

This face pack will clear acne and breakouts, whiteheads and reduces the presence of pores.

Boil orange peel with little water. Mix this with Neem powder, some yoghurt, honey and milk to form a smooth paste. Now apply this pack to your face and wash it off when it dries.
